I’m Dusti!
My husband Josh and I have been married for almost 8 years and we have the best little girl, Olivia (3). We live in Houston, TX where we serve in full-time ministry at our church, New Life Church (come join us!)
I do a little bit of everything at our church: I sing on the worship team, I teach, I manage our social media, and I do a lot of behind the scenes work.
I also lead a women’s ministry, Commune Women, that cultivates community of faith-filled women in their 20’s and 30’s, equips them to be disciples of Jesus Christ, and commissions them to go into all the world and preach the Gospel.
Commune has also begun a new initiative called The Closet, which provides assistance to women & children in the Spring Branch neighborhood of Houston by offering needed items such as diapers, clothes, formula, baby gear, home supplies, and more!
I was born and raised as a pastor’s kid (at the same church I’m at now!) and have known Jesus my whole life. I’m passionate about seeking His kingdom above everything else (Matthew 6:33) and I want to help women cultivate more meaningful relationships with Him.
FUN FACTS!!
JOSH AND I MET AND GOT MARRIED IN SOUTHERN CALIFORNIA!
We lived in North County San Diego, went on dates to Disneyland, had dinners in Newport Beach, and took day trips to Malibu.
WE HAVE TWO DOGS…
An Australian Shepherd named Bentley and a rescue Daschund named Cooper. Add in a preschooler and our home can get crazy ;)

Life is beautiful now, but it hasn’t always been easy.
It’s not all rainbows and butterflies around here. Josh and I ended our engagement a few months after getting engaged (at 20, mind you!), I moved back home, and at the time, thought my life was over (note: it wasn’t). When I was 21 years old, 3 months before my wedding, my dad unexpectedly died in his sleep after a battle with stage 4 cancer. In 2019, Josh and I experienced two miscarriages. I’ve battled with depression and anxiety since I was 13 years old. I have walked through immense seasons of grief, loss, serious relational conflict, and can’t say enough good things about therapy.
I don’t share this for pity or sympathy, but to say that if it weren’t for Jesus, I don’t think I would’ve made it this far. I can testify to His goodness, His faithfulness, and His provision for sustaining me. I can say with certainty that the story isn’t over if the story isn’t good. He redeems everything.
